The milk paint in this kit is made exclusively by The Real Milk Paint Company. Their milk paint formula is made with 100% organic ingredients, nontoxic, food contact safe, VOC free, and even biodegradable/compostable.

This powdered paint is mixed with water right before use and lasts up to 2 weeks in liquid form. Milk paint creates a rustic, matte finish that is great for any DIY project, woodworking, furniture painting, and much more. It works best over raw, unfinished surfaces but can be used on others. Milk Paint is kid safe and pet friendly, and won’t fill your home with nauseating fumes.

Our unique wooden tray helps hold and organize all the parts of the paint kit to help children be independent with their materials.

This Kit Includes:

• Milk Paint
- 2 Tbsp (1oz) - Flag Red
- 2 Tbsp (1oz) - Lakeview Blue
- 2 Tbsp (1oz) - Lemon Yellow
• 3 Reusable Glass Jars
• Hardwood Pallet
• 3 Mixing Sticks
• Chip Brush
• Foam Brush


Directions:

The powdered paint is mixed 1 part powder
to 1 part water. Our kit contains 2 tbsp (1oz)
of powder per color. Add water in small
amounts until a creamy consistency is
achieved. Use the included mixing sticks
to slowly stir the paint until the smooth.

The surface of the items being painted must
be clean and free of contamination, wax, grease,
or oils. When applying over other finishes, test for compatibility before full application.

Allow milk paint to dry on the surface 30 minutes (or until dry to the touch) before applying more coats. For complete and even coverage, two coats are recommended.


Clean up:

Dispose of unwanted milk paint in compost or by local disposal regulations. Clean up with mild soap and water. Clean brushes and jars by using Lye Soap or Mineral Spirits.


Storing:

In powder form, milk paint should be stored in a sealed container at room temperature.
In liquid form, milk paint can last up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
